Our spotting scope pouch is designed to fit straight spotting scopes up to 15 inches and up to 18 inches in length. We have made the pouch with zippering in substantial length to fit a variety of scopes. The top zipper opens to adjust the scope, the bottom to mount, and both ends are able to open. What does this mean? It means you can mount your scope to a tripod, without taking it out of the protective Cordura and spacer meshed pouch.
ADDITIONALLY, the pouch is able to hold angle scopes up to 15 inches in length, but they will not be able to be used in the same functionality as the straight scopes. This is still good for mounting on the outside of a pack, protecting your optics, and freeing up room within your main pack compartment .
The pouch is outfitted with molle to attach to a pack, which reduces the space your scope takes up on the inside of a pack.
Made with water and abrasion resistant 1000D Cordura, zippering, paracord pulls, and military spec spacer mesh foam.
Versatile pouch has padding and the ability to hold optics of various sizes, or possibly a fuel bottle, water bottle, thermos, or other cylindrical object that needs a bit more cushion than a standard pouch. Webbing allows for attachments to most gear and can be used as a carry handle. Four zippers make the contents of the pouch easily accessible and can facilitate use of the optic or item without removal. Very high quality and sharp in appearance.
Vortex 65mm angled (gen 2)
This spotter will fit in the smaller of the two bags offered. However, the eyepiece is too large in diameter to fit through the zippered hole for it. This makes the bag unable to perform the designed function of leaving this bag on the spotter during use. My guess is this will be the same for like sized Swaro and Leupold spotters. My suggestion to the company would be to increase the diameter of the eyepiece hole. Additionally, it would be great to see a pouch offered that is sewn at an angle (I think they'd sell well. Angled scopes are becoming quite popular.). Personally, I'm not too worried about leaving the bag on my scope during use. I figured I'd leave this review for anyone wondering how their scope would fit. Awesome piece of gear. Extremely well made.
